"...a production design that complements the script perfectly. The set features pieces that are self consciously artificial — the houses, the dressing rooms, and the studio are all flexible and visibly fake. Combined with the presence of screens, projections, cameras and studio lighting there's a general sense of being watched in a location that eludes definition."

"Lucy Thornett’s set and costume design is minimal, but adds an incredible depth to the performance. Newspaper shavings cover the floor of the performance space, suggesting ash, snowflakes and debris (or a combination of all three) and costume choices are accurately reflective of the characters’ personas and used to assist shifts in mood and setting."

"This work is about surprising departures and arrivals. About habitat and inhabiting spaces – about possibility and beauty...This is a work which would easily exist at the Biennale – or within a festival – fun and fantastical and at times very, very beautiful."
